The Thelma Ellis Sixteen Foundation, Inc., was the brainchild of Everett Kildare and other family members of the late Thelma Zenida Ellis aka Sixteen, to honor her memory and efforts to serve her community. To continue her years of service and dedication to helping needy students, the foundation provides scholarships to needy students seeking a secondary education, and to educational supplies to students and schools. These educational supplies includes computers, projectors, printers, books, three ring binders, pens, pencils and other educational supplies.
